Formula BMW Meet & Greet/Club Race

All BMW CCA member are invited to come up to Thunderhill Raceway to meet, greet, and watch the Formula BMW Americas’ (www.formulabmwamericas.com) drivers test and tune, and to cheer on the BMW CCA Club Race. This is the first time Club members have ever been invited to watch the test and tune for this Formula BMW. There is no admission cost for this event. Roundel’s motorsport editor Brian Morgan will be on hand to report on the activities of the two-day event.
This is a unique event where a BMW Club Race will be held during the Formula BMW Americas official test days, just a week prior to their event at Laguna Seca with the Rolex Grand Am Sports Car Series. Formula BMW technical staff will be available to show and discuss the Formula BMW cars. There will be time for questions and answers from the drivers and the teams.

When: May 8-9
Where: Thunderhill Park Raceway, Willows, CA
Cost: Free!

BMW NA Sponsored Corral At Monterey Festival Of Speed

BMW NA is sponsoring some special treats for the BMW CCA members attending the Monterey Festival of Speed May 17-18. Members will have free access to the BMW hospitality tent and a special low cost BMW-only parking corral. There will be special technical tours of the Formula BMW pits and a Q-and-A session each day with the drivers—all especially for BMW CCA members and their guests.
Plus, members will be privy to the exclusive viewing of the new Rahal-Letterman ALMS M3 racecar which graced  the cover of the March issue of the Bavarian Beamer. This will be its only West Coast appearance until the 2009 race season!
The on-track BMW parking corral is a bargain—just $10! You’ll need to buy your race tickets and BMW-only parking pass through Laguna Seca by phone. As this low price is a favor to our club, the admission-ticket parking-pass combination is not available online. Parking passes must be purchased at the time of race admission purchase. Access to BMW parking corral is only available to those who purchase the pass.

When: May 16-18
Where: Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway, Monterey
